Skin Care Routine

Image
MY LATEST SKINCARE ROUTINE! Well  hello,   So  I’ve not got the greatest skin or the worst, but I wanted to share my latest regiment. This post  wont  be too lengthy, but if you have any additional tricks or tips when it comes to having flawless skin, please comment and let me know. Please understand that what works for me, may not work for you, but you can tweak it to make it good for YOUR skin and add these items to your regimen. Here are a few tips of what I do:   1.  Drink tons of water, I mean like at least 8 bottles a day. You are literally 75% water and your body NEEDS it, not only your body, but your skin. Water may not taste great, hell it may not taste at all, but it is necessary.  2.  Treatments: I have been getting more and more facials and they really seem to be helping to heal and hydrate. I went to Anita Crain Dickerson for my first one ever and have been addicted ever since. I have not gotten to get one this month because of t...

Getting Back on Track

Image
FALLING OFF and Getting Back On Track     After getting off track February 1 st , I have found it super hard to get back into my old/new routine. Maybe you can relate and understand that sometimes we do not always stick to our goals… January is a tough month, but with ruining my sobriety from alcohol after almost a year, getting into the gym and dieting, I really feel like I have lost all hope. So, today will be my first day back at the gym after almost one full month – O U C H! I am writing this blog to let you know not to give up on yourself . There have been so many times throughout my short 27 years of life, that I have been discouraged and wanted to give up, but wouldn’t that be like the devil winning? Do you know how long it takes the average author to write a book? About six months. Do you know how long it takes to create a new car? Two to five years. Do you know how long it takes to create a new habit? Approximately 18 to 254 days. A few days ago...

To you, from 27 year old me

Image
Knowing that I am 27 years old kind of freaks me out. Who let me grow up? Why did I wish to be so grown when actually being a teenager is probably the best time of your life? I really sat down and took the time to think about all of the things I have learned in my first century of life. Here are a few of the things I know for sure: 1. Sometimes your life changes. You may think that you know exactly how you want your life to go and have figured out what makes you happy, but that can change in the blink of an eye. Do not get so stuck on being one thing that you forget to be anything else. I was so caught up in being a girlfriend wanting to be a wife or wanting to be a mother, that I almost forgot to live. I remember thinking about being pregnant with Kayson, thinking that is going to save my life and relationship not knowing that was probably the worst years of my life (besides Kayson-that's a whole other story). It's okay to find a new purpose as your life changes, it's okay...
